Eyesight camera covers 3d printed

It is windscreen cleaning time again and I hate those flimsy covers with tape, so I had to make better ones.

SLICE AND PRINT Flat side (eyesight logo) downwards, to table, no supports needed.
I recommend PLA with 0,15mm layers.

I can't get the last pics aligned correctly…

Excellent idea! Will you make copies ... or will you at least share the source file(s) so we can print our own?

New Outback owner here. Is this a thing?

I've noticed that since my car was several weeks old, the lane lines normally displayed when the active cruise control is turned on, have disappeared. Could that be caused by the cameras being dirty? Is there a way to clean them? When I bought my OB in December, the salesgirl told me to be careful about not getting window cleaner on the camera lenses. I spray cleaner on my cloth and then clean the windshield.

Never had an issue without covering the cameras. However, I don't use chemicals unless the windshield gets super dirty. I use some CarPro towels that just use warm water. Works better than using chemicals, or even other specialized waffle weave glass microfibers.

Don't know if these are going to be offered for sale but shipping to the US might get a little pricey. Maybe a group buy would be in order.

Then again I still have about 95% of my roll of blue painter's tape left.

My design is far from professional one, i just started to learn 3d modelling few months ago as a hobby…

But i did add the .stl model to first post, so i hope you can get those print locally.

Costs for pair is about a one dollar, so it´s not cost effective to sent those other side the World.
I also do not know is there any diffrences in size, mine is 2015 European model.

My car came with these (pic) what i call flimsy.

Interesting. In the U.S. we don't even get those.

Not likely. I've had mine for over a year and never touched the cameras. Remember that two things have to be enabled for those lines to appear. First, your speed has to be above the minimum, which I believe as about 37 MPH. Then, you have to have lane keeping assist turned on. That's the button on the right side of the steering wheel, bottom row. If that is off, the lines never appear. And the lines on the road have to be visible to the cameras. If they're faded, they might not be detected.
