2019 delayed accessory

Does the 2019 OB have 2019 delayed accessory power and automatic locking?

Auto locking, yes. That was added in 2018. No idea about delayed accessory power. It comes on in mine as soon as I hit the button.

I assumed @JacquesPere was asking if accessory power was delayed turning off. Maybe he can clarify.

Yes, Automatic locking can be enabled. Delayed accessory power, YES! and it only shuts off when the driver door opens, not passenger doors which I love.

Yes I meant after you turn off the ignition you have a short time to close the window if you forgot or any other accessory.

Thank you all. Thinking about a 2019 while the 3.6 is still available and no auto start/stop

There are a bunch still available here. If I were to win the lottery I'd by a second one. I've read that the 3.6 will be in short supply shortly as they shut down production.

As others have stated - yes to both. Seems like you can set the delay for exit, but I forget.

There were a lot of little changes introduced in 2018... other ones:

- all 4 windows are auto up/down
- little button on the tailgate to close is backlit.
- the heater controls are easier to see in daylight (to me).
- larger clock/temp display
- driver and passenger temps are displayed on the knob itself
- LED headlights in some trim levels
- no more steering responsive winking on and off fogs (I hated that feature): steering responsive headlights instead
- larger vehicle alert light (on the side mirror housings)
- lines for the backup camera now that curve when you turn the wheel in addition to the ones showing distance.
- rear seat USB outlets I don't think were on the 2017
- individual tire pressures on the TPMS screen
- little dash screen that shows speed also now shows speed limit where you are
- time/temp can be displayed on that little dash screen too (don't recall the 2017 having that).
- the high beam assist is part of the eyesight camera, there is no third camera behind the rear view mirror on the windshield

They got rid of the mute button on the steering wheel - I miss that one. The controls are slightly rearranged on the steering wheel. Same with the heater controls - minor changes to the layout.

logon to MySubaru and see what the guaranteed trade in on your current car is (if you go that route).

In the past the factory orders end in the 4th week of May... Last year it was May 25th. Probably Friday May 24th this year (my guess). 4 1/2 weeks to order, then it's a search to find what's on a lot somewhere.

Plus the "head unit" will be more complex/distracting. No more knobs and buttons for intuitive operation.
