Marjie's new Macan just arrived...

She's impressed ..a little intimidated at the newness. I had never sat in one before; I am impressed with the 'mass'. The only thing that caught my eye looking at it out my shop window was the sill trim was chrome - the roof racks brushed aluminum. I would have thought the guys in styling would have objected. More later when I get a chance to better at it.

Thanks, all... It's pretty impressive. We are longtime Wagonistas; Peugeot, Mercedes, coupla Volvos, Dodge, Fords... it's the only logical choice. Even before active safety was a consideration, a wagon was the safest shape engineering could provide. She really did lust after a Macan - but that $20k jump for a used S was just too high for grocery-getter. Done that...

She liked the shape of the Lincoln that 'looks-like-a-Macan', but nobody wants to be seen in one. I liked the OPEL wagon that Buick sells, but I'd give money Buick is an orphan brand ('member Pontiac?) very soon. When the best Buick is built in China, you know they're cooked.

'Not driven yet, I wanted to get a coat of polymer/wax on it before the launch. I did find a couple of minor squawks. There's a coupla places the robot sprayer might have been rushing for a smoke break. No biggie.

C'hit... I forgot to add my current ride. The world outside knows it as the Accord Tourer. For additional markup, as an ACURA TSX Wagon in the states ...last issued in 2012.

Just picked up a 2019 touring white just like yours. Funny. The second picture above of the rear bumper lack of paint or buffing issue. We have the exact same location and looks exactly the same. Rush job. Other than that we love our touring.
Love the tsx wagon. Rare.

Very nice. I'm about a month in on the 3.6 Touring. Love it.

Congrats on the new Outback.

I noticed your plate frame... I went to that dealer first when shopping for my Outback. A total waste of time. Not a pleasant experience in the least.
