Thanks for the info! I'm going to look into that brand. Do you also have a camera in the rear?

Right on! Thats by kentlands

This is the cam i got. It was a deal of the day

No. I was trying to figure out a solution to a rear cam. Although this cam should do it, i didnt fiddle around with the motion sensor sensitivity. I really wanted one after someone bumped me from behind by montgomery village

You might wanna secure that camera a little better, be a bummer miss something if it moves during a braking maneuver.

There an adjustment on the mount?

Unfortunately the item is unavailable but thanks for answering my questions!

At least now I know what to look for in a dash cam

Gotcha!

So this is a capture from a couple of days ago driving home from work. I was actually going to pull into the service station on the left when this dufus comes roaring by me on the left in a 70kmh, no passing zone. I posted the video to YouTube and then contacted the trucking company. If you go to YouTube to view this...Notice their comment in the comments section. I also had an email from them telling me they have dealt with the driver in question and asked if I would please take down the video...guess they don’t like the bad rap that goes with the driver.

Had a scare recently.

Figured I'd post it here instead of making a thread about it.

After getting rear ended last year (and still dealing with it) getting rear ended on the interstate from stopping was the first thing on my mind.

So the same guy wrecks out on a wet road and then passes you again? I'm guessing you weren't driving ridiculously slow or anything.

I'm very unlikely to stop on a highway unless someone is clearly in need of help. I hit a bear last year in your fine state, rolling through one of those fun curvy sections of the 77 turnpike. Car was running so I wasn't stopping until the next exit or rest stop.
