Can anyone suggest a dash cam

I'd like to purchase a dash cam for daily driving. I have exhausted myself looking at online reviews, they seem like a lot of fake reviews. Considering the Garmin 55 but would like to hear if anyone has had good luck with a dash cam. Thanks for any suggestions.

I'm in the same situation as you. I'm considering the Rexing V1 - the one with both front and rear cameras. Please note that I have not bought this as yet, just that from my research, this is my favorite so far.

I plan on installing it once it's not so insanely cold here in Minnesota.

I no longer recommend the Vantrue N2 Pro, which I have had for over a year.

I got it as a Lightening Deal after I had been eyeing its good reviews for awhile. It does take decent video for both front and rear, but the internal battery is too small and it constantly dies and resets the date, sometimes even while plugged in on long road trips. It also loses suction to my windshield whenever there is a big swing in temperature throughout the day.

I just installed a Blackvue DR900S front and rear. Doesn't affect Eyesight, works great.

I've been using the Street Guardian dash cams for the past few years. The current model is their SGGCX2PRO. You can find out more here... https://dashcamtalk.com/
The site has a great forum section too

Daytime video is excellent. Night time is good. And Street Guardian has excellent customer service... After my first cam died after three years of use, and out of warranty. They gave me a BIG discount on a 2nd purchase and a better warranty.

I hardwired the unit off the rear view mirror and tucked it as close to it as possible on the glass.

While searching for dash cams, I found these:

https://dashcamtalk.com/

And the 2019 update from the same site:
https://dashcamtalk.com/best-dash-cams-of-2019/

I don't know enough to say if these articles are accurate or fair but at least I've heard of these brands and they're not just cheap knock-off versions.

This was the page I mean to link.

It's a legit resource, wouldn't really trust any other mainstream sites for reviews. Individual forums for the popular dash cams so you can guage what sucks and what doesn't.
