McIntosh Receiver and Amp from 2002 VDC

Hi,

I have a McIntosh Receiver, amp and connecting cable from my 2002 Outback VDC.

Everything worked fine when I pulled it. It read my burned CD's without issue.

The Receiver is marked as re-manufactured.

If you are interested make me an offer.

How much better is this compared to the factory headunit and amp on Mal? And would it be plug and play?

Have you considered the Google search bar at the top of the forum?

2002 Outback wagon 3.0 L.L. Bean no more: "Mal" 134,000 and counting.
Cloth interior swap. HIR1 high beam upgrade. Yellow Lamin-X fog light film.

2006 Outback 2.5i wagon: "Professor Sprout" 96,000 and counting.
HIR1 high beam upgrade.

Rust in Peace:
"Solstice" 1996 Outback wagon, totaled at 115K.
"Kaylee" 2003 Outback wagon, sold at 167K.

I completed the VDC project...finally. I haven't had the energy to post anything. I will eventually...

The McIntosh amp and head unit are not plug and play as you need to run speaker wires and power to the amp which is installed under the passenger seat.

My Bean already has a factory amp under the passenger seat, just don't think it is the same one that came with the McIntosh system.

Are you willing to separate? Do you have any speakers by chance?

*ears perk up*

The McIntosh ones are nice balanced-input under-metered powerhouse freak shows.

Would be interesting to see what the other ones have in 'em. I swear I didn't see an amp under the seat in 1MeanBean.

Kenwood DMX7704S + iDataLink Maestro, Stock H/K speakers and amplifier, JL 12W6v3 HO Wedge, JL XD1000/5v2 adding some kick. (Not hooked up yet: Hertz Energy component speakers)
