255x55R18 Tires for '18 Outback

Hi all,

Does anyone know if a 255x55R18 tire (looking at Continental All-terrain) will fit without rubbing on my '18 Outback without a lift kit? They're a bit over 1 inch wider and 1/2 inch taller than stock tires.

Thank you,
John Kjos (loving my first Subaru)

These fit 235/60-R18

Size you picked may be to big - have discount tire do a test to see if they fit.

I do like the bigger tire I installed also has a heavier load range.

discount tire calculator:

your choice of size should fit comparing to my tire size you have 3/4 inch wider tread, may rub on suspension / struts, may need a spacer.

but your tire choice will fit in the Wheel Wells

Discount Tire

Great idea. Have a Discount Tire store close by. They don't list a 245x55R18 all-terrain tire or I'd choose that size. Driving in desert sand conditions seems better with wider tires. They look better too.
