What is your longest 1-day drive in an Outback?

My wife and I have done over 700 miles in a Tahoe, but we just got our first Outback.

Forrest City, AR. to Santa Fe, NM, 955 miles, solo in a Ford Escort wagon, stick shift, no cruise.

Next car was a Forester, auto with cruise. Have migrated thru another OB, than a 2nd Forester, now a ‘17 OB. Haven’t done much more than 8 hrs in the OB, usually Long Island to Maine and that’s with my wife sharing the driving.

Chicago to Altanta and back to Chicago.

Think that was almost 1500 miles and a nearly a solid day of drive time. Kaylee and I bonded well on that short but very long trip.

Have you considered the Google search bar at the top of the forum?

2002 Outback wagon 3.0 L.L. Bean no more: "Mal" 134,000 and counting.
Cloth interior swap. HIR1 high beam upgrade. Yellow Lamin-X fog light film.

2006 Outback 2.5i wagon: "Professor Sprout" 96,000 and counting.
HIR1 high beam upgrade.

Rust in Peace:
"Solstice" 1996 Outback wagon, totaled at 115K.
"Kaylee" 2003 Outback wagon, sold at 167K.

In an Outback? Well, this is our first one. We bought her about a hundred miles from home, and I don't think we've had her more than a hundred miles from home yet.

Now -- for all time? Well, I drove a Dodge Caravan from Valdosta, Georgia to Minneapolis one day a few years ago -- that was a long drive, maybe 1350 miles?

And I've driven an 18-wheeler 900+ miles a day several times. Strictly illegal, but I've heard of guys going further than that.

I'll be doing some long drives in my Outback soon enough, since I'm off on a road trip to southern Arizona in late April.

So far my record is just over 1,400 km from just north of Portland, OR to Bakersfield, CA with my 2009 Impreza.

The most strenuous drive was about 1,200 km, if memory serves, from Furnace Creek in Death Valley, CA to Bend, OR. I drove up the eastern Sierra Nevada, Highway 395 past Mammoth Lakes where I encountered a spring snowfall pretty much all the way up to northern CA, luckily a light one, then over to Klamath Falls and that long drive up Highway 97 to Bend after dark, with glaring lights from oncoming traffic along the long straight sections, and suicidal deer leaping across the road, all of which I thankfully managed to dodge. I was dead tired, but so wired from the drive that after checking into a hotel, I couldn't sleep for hours. That was in my 2014 Forester XT, if I recall. Both were solo trips...

Haven't ventured far in the Outback yet, but we got it for road trips, so that'll happen soon enough.

Personal longest stretch was just over 1500 miles from Breckenridge, CO to Dahlonega, GA in our V50. 22 hours with only four 5 minute fuel stops. No driver changes and we did the whole thing in racing buckets, but the only bad part of that drive was traveling East through time zones.
