I'm attempting to swap a 3.6r into a 2008 Outback with a 6 speed manual, and have found that recommended ECUs from Haltech are about as expensive as the engine itself. Would it be possible to modify an 08-09 Tribeca ECU to work with Outback electronics instead? What issues would I run into?
