  1. Gen 3: 2005-2009
So when I turn on my fog lights my high beams must be getting power to them somewhere because the light comes on in the cluster and the high beams light up very dim. Sometimes my fog lights won't come on at all, probably because it thinks my high beams are on. Does anyone have a fix or any ideas.
  2. Diode Dynamics
Factory fog lights are built to meet minimum output requirements. Every aftermarket design available provides similar lackluster performance, but with an LED. The focus has been on LED appearance, not increased output. There has never been an aftermarket fog light designed from the ground up for...
  3. Gen 5: 2015-2019
I do not see a recent thread regarding this subject. Sorry if I missed it somewhere. I have a 2019 Outback, USA spec. It has front fog lamps, and they are activated from the steering column stem switch. I plan on shipping the car to Europe where rear fog lamps are mandatory. As there are no...

I have a 17 outback 2.5 base model. Barebones vehicle but I'm happy with it. I'm kinda mechanically inclined and have seen the videos and manual on how to install a new kit to a car that previously hasn't had one. I am good but not great at mechanical stuff and I wonder if I should just pay a...

I got these philips x-treme ultinon H11 after returning my Diode Dynamics SLF fog lights because those didn't seem to fit in the housing. I'm curious if the LEDs are positional? Do they need to be exactly pointed at each side/exactly horizontal? They only seem to fit in the housing one way, and...

  7. Lighting, Electrical & Electronics
I'm not sure exactly how long the fog lights on my 2018 2.5 limited have not been operational but now that I know, it's driving me bunkers! Problem: both front fog lights won't turn on even though scroll switch is set to "on" position and green fog icon lights on dash is on. All other lights...
  8. Performance Parts & Accessories
Just purchased a 2018 outback without fog lights, I was wondering if there’s already a switch somewhere as it’s already wired for fog lights. If not where can I get the switch to slap on the panel?

I have a pair of DEPO fog lamps for the GEN 2 Legacy/Outback 2000-2004 model years These are new, never installed to the vehicle. One fog lamp has the reflector removed as I was planning a brighter fog light set up for off road use but I sold the vehicle before I could compete the project...
  10. Gen 2: 2000-2004
Hi everyone! I've been snooping around the Gen 2 forums for tutorials on how to make the fog lights function independently for a 2002 H6 Outback Sedan. Most search results provided instructions specifically for the 2.5 2000-2004 Outbacks. What I noticed is that the Fog Light Relay is located...
