Hi everyone. I have an '01 Outback H6 VDC. I have a hole in my exhaust right in front of the muffer where the hanger is behind the rear wheel. What's my best option for fixing this? I don't think I can't put a clamp and patch on because it's where the hanger is. It seems like it would be over kill to replace the whole deal.

Can I do just the pipe from the manifold or cat back to the muffler?

Any suggestions for parts or repairs in the GTA, specifically Caledon or Brampton would be much appreciated. On line is OK too. I will be in Buffalo in January so I sould pick up the parts then if has to come from the US to get the best deal.

Thanks, Craig

I have had luck using a split-flange to repair it, and using a soft metal donut between the pipe ends.

When that failed recently, I filed down the flanges (you could cut them off) and bridged the gap with a short piece of 2.5 inch pipe and 2 clamps.
