Hello all, thanks for looking. I know this question has been asked at least a thousand times, but this story may have a twist.
I deliver newspapers and go through a qt of oil about every 400 miles! The car is a 5 speed and I've noticed that it's worst when I used the gears (downshifting) to reduce speed. I live in the NC mountains so the terrain is rather hilly and I try to save my brake pads as much as possible. But when I do, and accelerate back up the next hill, large plumes of gray/blue smoke come out the exhaust. Does this ring a bell for anyone. Thanks in advance for any insight.

Valve seals leaking or worn rings if its out the tailpipe.

Massive oil leak if its just pluming from under the car.
