Going to change the radiator fluid in my '05 outback 2.5L and just wondering as I don't have access to my manual at the moment on how many gallons of anti-freeze I need. Is one gallon with the subaru radiator additive enough?
Going to use the Subaru stuff and was going to order it online later tonight. Thanks for the help.

That along with a gallon of distilled water and you will be good to go. If you look in the "Problems and Maintenance" forum there is a sticky with 2005-07 routine maintenance PDFs. Check it out they are very helpful for doing the routine stuff:)

Be sure to follow the bleeding directions on the gallon of coolant as well.

My '07 Service Manual says the 2.5i has a 6.3 or 6.4 qt capacity, depending on tranny. I gallon should be fine as long as it is full strength and not diluted 50/50.
