I'm a newcomer to Subaru so don't know much about the history of the Legacy /Outback.

I've been offered a Legacy high sided cargo tray (plastic thing that slides into the boot) from a 1999 model.

Can anyone tell me if it would fit my 2009 RE?

Thanks

You might be able to cut out the flat part (getting rid of the sides and various edge curves) and use it as a partial flat liner. If you can get it free, it might be worth trying. It won't look good; however, nobody but you and your family will see it ;)

thanks for replies - like your plan John, that would do me just fine, as would a sheet of plywood or old blanket - but unfortunately wouldn't pass muster with the director of operations I'm married to!
