It's a basic BT audio adapter but it has one caveat; it's designed for 110vac
I had a USB cable for an external disk. It was one of those that has two USB connectors (for power) and one micro USB for the drive. I found that if I plug one USB port into the BT device, one into a power adapter and then remove the micro USB connector, the BT runs just fine. No power invertor, no expensive adapter, just cheap BT audio input; hidden in my console and piped into my AUX port.
