Well i'm new to the subaru world, I've always owned trucks but i got a really good deal on this 02 outback sport with 84,000 on it. It has new rear sway bar links, new oil pan gasket, tranny pan gasket, timing belt and tensioner. Anyways, I really want to make it mine by making it look good (wheels, tint, lights etc.) But i need some ideas, i have no idea whats out there for mods/parts for this car. I've looked around the forum and on the web but i can't find many outbacks that are not stock that look like this and i'm new to subarus so help me please!
Thanks, Nick!

What you have is the Impreza based platform, hence the Sport; and not the Legacy based platform of the regular Outback.

Typically, most anything that fits a corresponding Impreza will work on your OBS.

You would likely have more people directly knowledgeable on your vehicle. Most of us here are in the "yeah, that SHOULD work..." camp regarding the OBS.

http://forums.nasioc.com is one of the largest.

However, for basic things like wheels any Subaru wheel with the 5x100 bolt pattern (see also: almost all of them except WRX STI and Tribeca) will bolt up. Lights are easy to upgrade with better quality bulbs, Daniel Stern Lighting Consultancy and Supply really know their stuff.
Suspension upgrades from a corresponding generation Impreza SHOULD be mostly plug and play.

Last I checked, they are THE largest single automotive forum on the internet. You'll see lots of members there that don't own an Impreza based car at all, just a Subaru of some kind.

I wouldn't say an Outback Sport isn't welcome here, just would say you'll get more good technical info at NASIOC. I'm sure trip reports, galleries, and such would be nice to see from 'that other Outback' every once in a while.
