I have a 2003 outback that runs like a dream, unless I've been driving it. Sometimes, when I've driven it, it won't start when it's warm. It doesn't matter if its 100 miles or 10 miles. And it's not all the time. I can crank on it and hear it trying to start, but won't turn over. If I let it sit a couple of hours, it starts right up, with the check engine light on. I've taken it to have the code read and I can't find anyone with a reader that doesn't get an error. Is it possible for a 2003 outback to get an air lock? I've read about trying to start it in neutral, I'll try that the next time it does it. It can happen everyday for a week, then not again for a month. Help!
