Did all this pop up at the same time or did the trans start acting up and you got it scanned? How long has the engine light been on?

First place to go is the battery.
Then grounding.
Check your trans fluid level after the car warms up.
After that's all good then we can move forward.

The last time I read a post with similar errors I believe the problem was the main ground/earth wire from the battery to the engine was not re-connected (after other work had been done).

Check your battery and ground/earth connections first.
