I've done this before on many cars.
This is on a 3.0R, if it matters.
It's not exactly obvious how to access the adjust nuts at the parking brake handle thou'. Do I need to just start taking center console pieces apart until I can expose it? Or is there a way to "pop" loose the leather cover on the handle anc gain easy access?

Thanks,

I always thought it was adjusted on the cable under the car...
Typically on the newer handbrake type cars it's on a nut/locknut assembly right on the handle pivot mechanism.
I see where others have posted how to adjust on older models. It's just not obvious how to remove the pieces to get at the adjuster, without removing the whole console? Anyone done this?
I know I could take it to the dealer, but that involves a night-drop, hassle to get over to pick it up, etc, all for a simple adjustment...

Any insight here would be appreciated!

Thanks,
