Good day all,
The motor linkage on my 2006 Outback popped off. Yes, my fault. Stuck, frozen ice. Took off the windshield skirt and reattached it, and back yo business. BUT as the car is 14 years old, this may happen again. As the the mechanism is not terribly expensive, i was thinking to change it. I see that there are bushings only kits out there, but not for 2006 (gen 3) models.
Anyone have successful cross reference fittings?
Thanks

for some of the older cars, there were some Jeep/chrysler bushings that could be made to work. I think a 'generic' kit too . I seem to recal there was a little knife or Dremel trimming required....? maybe some JB WEld too? been a long time since I read about this issue.

Many folks would just replace the transmission arms or w'ever it is.

try some search strings about it; try 'wipers hit, slap, loose', etc. also extend search to ultimatesubaru.org and even Youtube.
