All,
I just purchased a Livinlite 10.0 Popup camper which I pull with my 2004 Outback H4 Auto. Power is more than enough but I know this summer I will have some cooling issues pulling up the mountains to our favorite camp spot.
Other than a customer built radiator for $1,200 the best I could find was one from a 2006 Subaru Baja Turbo with the sport shift auto transmission. That radiator (Subaru part 45119FE020) has a core just over 1" compared to our stock 5/8" core. The non turbo Baja uses the same radiator, (45111AE00A) as our outbacks so I am sure the turbo radiator will bolt right up.
Only issue would be the radiator shroud for the electric fans. Non Turbo Baja uses the same part as our Outbacks but the Turbo has a different one listed (45122FE030). I wonder if I should get two turbo shrouds when I order the radiator?
Anybody upgrade to the Baja Turbo radiator? Thoughts?
Thanks guys!
