Bought my wife a 2007 OB wagon with 83K on the clock. Came with excellent set of service records. No record of timing belt change, so I had it changed today. My mechanic showed me the old belt. It was split or "cracked" in at least half a dozen places. Great example of why the replacement interval is 105,000 miles OR 105 months (8.75 years) - whichever comes first. Age matters. These are interference engines so get those old belts changed! :smile2:
