Driving home, my LED display for the radio stations went dark. It came back when I stopped and restarted the car. Anyone have this problem? Radio played fine, all stations in memory, but no display. This happened on my 09 Forester but it was a hard failure and I replaced with an after market from Crutchfield.

Thank you for the post. If the issue returns, I will take the radio apart and look for the surface corrosion on each side of the front plate

I have a 2.5i with manual climate control, I don't think the climate control is affected by the issue, so fall back is an after market radio. It would be nice to have Apple Car Play, blue tooth, aux input, and USB.
