Pretty sure subwoofer was an option that year- meaning no trim package included it by default. Look under the front passenger seat- that's where it was installed that year... I think.

2009 had them on the right side extreme rear bay; previous years just have a small cargo pocket/panel there. I think 2009 was the only year with them built into the back.

I passed on that exact stereo for our other car just last week, I bought a Sony ax100 instead. In this case the sony was compatible with the car's steering wheel controls where the jensen wasn't.

Good luck!

I don't have steering wheel control, so the Jensen works, and saves me $100. My wife Accord has carplay, and its very convenient. How do you like the Sony?

The Sony is fine. Carplay works as advertised, though when we tried an Android phone it didn't work at all despite listing full support.

The real surprise was Crutchfield making a mistake. The kit they sent me didn't have the right adapter for the car's reverse-vision camera, and upon calling their support department we found that their database had bad info. They wound up giving me a partial refund and found a place for me to buy the adapter as they didn't sell it themselves. It felt really weird catching them out like that, usually they are on the ball with knowing what fits. The refund they gave more than covered the purchase of the extra kit- they took care of me, but it's a confidence thing really.

If you are seeking a multimedia unit (no CD/DVD) with CarPlay and Android Auto, you may want to consider this unit at Frys! If you receive Frys promo codes, you may save even more..... The price difference is notable!

that is a big difference, Crutchfield is not always the lowest price, but the bundle of the mounting kit and adapters has made them a good value for me when I purchased in the past. I listen to books on CD, so CD player is needed. The Library Overdrive catalog is good, but many times a CD is the only version our library will have.
