I changed left headlight yesterday, and removed the battery in the process. Now the car drives fine, but when I depress the clutch the RPM goes to near Zero, the pops up to the normal 600 to 800 rpm.

Is this the ECU relearning nominal for the car? I just got in the car an started driving after the bulb change. An earlier post suggested after a battery change, start the car, allow it to come up to steady state temperature at idle, to reset the ECU. I'm wondering if I should disconnect the battery and try this if the car still idles poorly

Any suggestions?
