Does anyone have any tips for how to remove the clutch master cylinder from a 2010 outback? Do I have to remove the clutch and brake pedal assembly? I’m having a hard time figuring out how to remove the line on the top without removing the whole bracket.

Disconnect the clutch lever from the clutch cylinder rod inside the car. The pedals stay in the car.

Suck out the brake fluid from the clutch reservoir. Put towels down to catch anything that drains out when yo disconnect the hoses. Brake fluid eats up paint.

Take the reservoir bracket off the res.
Disconnect the hose and lines to the cylinder and move the res out if the way. Unbolt the cylinder from the firewall and remove.

Reverse to put it in. Look up clutch bleed.

Half hour or so job.
