I'm getting noise when I turn on the A/C - heater fan. Sounds to me like it could be a leaf or something stuck in there but it's been driving me nuts for the past month. Is there a way to access the cabin fan and clear it out?

Thanks!

dbruyere,

Easy! Pull the 3 plastic plugs for the glove box under cover and it comes right off. Then from underneath the fan assembly (you'll be able to see it now) disconnect its wiring connector, and the three 10 mm bolts holding the fan motor and squirrel cage fan. The entire unit drops right down and out. The difficult part is getting your body into the floor space to do the above job, especially for us old guys. Good Luck!
