...I don't depend on the sensor to turn my lights off and on. I go buy the rule of thumb...turn them on 1/2 hour before sunset and off 1/2 hour after sunrise. Some on the forum have siad that the extra cycling of the lights going off and on by relying on the sensor results in few hours of bulb length. Don't know if it's true but hey...changing those low beam bulbs is a royal PIA so if leaving the lights on manual makes them last longer I am all for it.
