My 2013 Outback has thrown some major faults that have to do with the ECM and I was wondering if I should fix it myself or have a dealer fix it.
I have done/ can do some fairly complicated work when it comes to fixing cars (and electronics) but I would like to know if I would be in over my head in this case.

The faults are:
C0231 - Engine Control Module Failure
P2096 - Post Catalyst Fuel Trim System Too Lean (Bank 1)
B1650 - Occupant Classification System Fault
The solutions to these faults all mention the ECU as part of the solution or part of the problem.
