I bought a 2018 Outback back in Sept, have washed the car a few times and each time I get water out of the left lower hole in the rear liftgate. There are two oval shaped holes at the bottom corners that I assume are for draining water out but I have wondered if this is normal every time or if the holes are only there just in case water gets inside the cavity. Thought if not then there is maybe a seal leak somewhere.

Was hoping some seasoned Outback owners could tell me if they have seen this and if it's normal.
Not sure how to ask the dealer so I thought I would start here first.

Thanks

I don't think its the third brake light. That light is under the rear spoiler above the window.

I'm starting to think water is not suppose to come out of that hole unless there is something wrong. The parts diagram of the '15 shows plugs for those same holes which makes me think there is a leak from the left lamp assembly in the liftgate.
