I was changing the cabin filter in my 2015 Outback and when I disconnected the damper it fell right off. Now I can't figure out where it attaches at the top. There are two holes and it looks like they should clip onto some stubs but I don't see any. Do the holes orient up or down and how to they attach?

Thanks.

I think there are a couple of utube videos showing the cabin filter change, and you may get an idea from those. good luck

Thanks, I viewed a few but they don't show how the damper is mounted. In this video it looks like it might just dangle loose.

I think I got it. The bottom hole slides onto a small tab and the top hole doesn't mount on anything. It isn't obvious but after I reinstalled it the damper appears to be working properly.
