I have a Samsung Galaxy S-5 (Android 6). It is paired with my 17 limited HK FB876US. It is working well for what I do. I can start the car with my phone in my pocket and it pairs automatically and wirelessly with the bluetooth. I can stream Pandora by selecting it on the head unit. I can voice control my phone, radio, and heat/air.

Here's the thing: I have 15 gb on the 16 gb S5 phone and would like to update to Samsung Galaxy S8 or S9 and worry that I will have issues. Is anyone else using S8 or S9 and can you wirelessly connect without issues for the Bluetooth and Pandora?

So many variables! Can we restrict replies to Outback 16-17 with FB876US Nav and Samsung S8 or S9 phone?

I have a 2017 OB Limited (Fujitsu head unit with Nav) and I'm using a Samsung S8 without any issues. It connects via Bluetooth automatically every time I start the car.

Samsung Galaxy S9+ was chosen

New phone paired with OB in the store parking lot in 5-minutes. Pandora running automatically. No issues so far.

Thanks guys!
