Can’t open the rear hatch with the fob, the release button on the dashboard or by pressing the release button on outside. When attempting this the 3 beeps sound, but then nothing happens. The frustrating part about this is that in reverse or in forward gear as soon as as I hit 1MPH that same 3 beep sound becomes a constant continuous noise until I come to a complete stop. Any ideas?

sounds like the car thinks the hatch is open with the constant noise when moving... could be a bad rear gate control module.

Try opening the hatch by holding the button on the hatch until it releases (20 seconds? 30 seconds?). Then manually open it about halfway, then close it manually until the latch catches and pulls it shut.

Alternately - when it's open you could try resetting things by disconnecting the battery and stepping on the brakes to drain any residual power, and then reconnect the battery then close the hatch manually as above. That might fix things - but then you'd have to reset the power windows (that's easy to do).

The car will have error codes on the modules or the data from the module will tell you what is going on. Unfortunately the computer or software to see the body modules is not something you can pick up for a few bucks.

It could be a bad switch, bad actuator, issue with the module, debris in the latch, ......
