Hi Experts and Subaru Owners,

Its 2.5 years , my subaru outback 2018 3.6R need battery replacement. I am looking for battery group 25 with higher CCA ( 700 + ) / CA and reserve ( 100 or +).
But I did not find any suitable after market or OEM available with this configuration, then I started looking for Group 35 which is equivalent size ( LxWxH ) as group 25. In Group 35 I have many options to choose with high CCA and Reserve like Odyssey or Optima .
Can any one advice if you have ever used 35 in your outback !
Is it okay to use different group ( like 35 ) instead of 25 !!

Regards
Robbie

Group 35 batteries are a common replacement for an Outback.

As previously mentioned there are several threads on that subject here, such as this one: /www.subaruoutback.org/threads/why-group-34-battery-and-not-24.401961/ You may wish to get a group 24 (not a 24F) or 34 vice a 25 or 35.
