According to the Dealer there is a new Backup Bulb style for the 2018 Outback. He quoted a Subaru Part # 84920Ke010 regular bulb and this translates to an LED Bulb Size of 7440. There is a snap on panel on each side of the Hatchback itself which exposes only one Bulb Socket. Its been too cold to work on the Car. Is this the right way to get at the bulb? We have a long driveway and I need more light. I haven't verified the Bulb Socket and make no claims that the dealer is correct but I hope so.
Thanks for any help

Dealer told me wrong the bulb type for Backup is actually a 921. I put in powerful LED bulbs and it makes a world of difference being able to see along the sides when backing out of a long driveway.

Right you are. Did the same thing this winter and am glad I did. Super easy to do and makes a huge difference.
Used these bulbs from Amazon for $10, 1,000 lumens @ 6000K.
