Anyone try pulling an Airstream Bambi with a 2020 Touring XT 2.4L Turbo? I own the new car but want to rent the trailer. I do not want to stress the car. Thanks much.

I don’t know why everyone wants to tow something big with an Outback. A Travel trailer should be towed by a truck or big sport Ute. That said, the Bambi is light - 3000 lbs Dry weight.
1. the trailer will ALWAYS be heavier than Dry weight. Clothes, food, pots/pans, propane, tanks, add-ons, etc. make for 500 to 1000 lbs heavier, or much more On big trailers.
2. Unless you are limited to driving in Kansas (no hills!), you should have a tow rating higher than what you will haul. Mountains are killer.
3. air resistance is significant when towing. Keep under 65 mph.
4. brakes controller required. Anti-sway and/or load leveling hitch may be necessary(don’t know if the load leveling hitch will work with that setup).
