Hey question, I have a P125 in my base 04', what other oem radios would work in it? I've heard McIntosh radios won't work in non McIntosh cars but what radios are McIntosh?

mcintosh radios were in Outback VDC they won't work as is because they don't have an amplifier built in they are pre amp out to the mcintosh amplifier , sitting under the passenger seats

they were made by Clarion

Subaru used pretty much the same connectors on all radios from ‘93-‘08ish depending on models. Pin outs are very similar, illumination not withstanding. I’ve looked into it a bit, I wanted to swap an OEM 6disc with aux input into my Baja. I couldn’t find anything after a while so I went aftermarket.

Good info here:

I think any Subaru radio with the 14 pin connector will work ( up to 2008).

Subaru radio and radio wiring harness information

Personally I would go aftermarket as they have much better systems available for less money. Check out Crutchfield.com and it will tell you what will fit your car and what you will need to install it.
