For those with manual transmissions, has anyone installed a clutch stop to reduce the clutch arc length?

This is a pretty cheap modification to make, but just wondering if someone has already done it and had any input.

Thanks,
Rob

I find that there is a considerable amount of slack beyond the engagement or "grab" point.

Most of the time I'll get to the engagement point without going much beyond, but it would be helpful to shorten the clutch travel and reduce the wasted movement. On my previous car installing a clutch stop was as simple as an elevator bolt and furniture adhesive footing. It made shifting much easier and more consistent.
