I just got back last night from my 7500 mile service and the dealer did the oil change and rotated the tires. In the invoice, in addition to the

Oil Pan crush washer,
oil filter
Oil itself

was something like

"Turbo Kit LOF"

Since the paper is at home and I'm at work, does anybody know what this is?

Whatever it is, 1 was added to my car...:)

I hope it's a secret hypersonic raygun :D

Yes; LOF stands for "Latitudinal Ordinance Flamethrower." So they've just added one to your turbo. At no cost?

Yes, F-R-E-E! I got the free maintenance program via Subaru-NA after I bought it last year.

I'm going to see if they added a button somewhere on my dashboard. There has to be a way to trigger the flames.

OK, this is what the invoice actually says"

"KIT3 TURBO LOF"

I might call them up on this... Ack, talking to a dealer... aahhhhh

Probably just that they put a Lube Oil Filter (LOF) abbreviation on the same line signifying what is under your hood, hence just saying the kind of engine that was worked on.

That said, I don't have a turbo :( so I'd never see that.
