So head gasket is blown(surprise, surprise). Mechanic wants to fix it for $2500. Cheapest in the area. Has 120,000 miles and a new timing belt. Just going to sell it. Any way I could sell it for $1500 to $1000 you think? I really don't want to scrap it. Will post pictures later.

Yeah, if I was in the market for an OB that needed HGs and was in otherwise decent shape, I'd pay $1,000 to $1,500. No more than that, though. Too risky.

$2500 is way too much for a simple HG replacement. In the neighborhood of $1500 would be reasonable.
