I've come to the conclusion that after my horn has stopped working and airbag light has come on, the clockspring has decided to throw in the towel. The only problem is that I'm not 100% sure if the local junk yard has a compatible donor. At first glance, a 99 forester's part looks nearly identical, but so did the alternator that I had to return last week. This time I'm doing research to prevent the walk of shame, hopefully. Is there a list somewhere of cross-compatible clocksprings? Thanks in advance!

I looked both year models up and 96-99 is the same part number regardless of which wiper function you have.
