I woke up one morning and my brake pedal went straight to the floor. I pumped it a few times thinking it might build pressure to no avail. I bought some DOT 3 and it sucked up the whole bottle. I checked under the car and it seems to be leaking from somewhere near the front passenger side wheel. Any ideas of what might be wrong? Thanks.

Don't drive with that problem. If you cannot remedy it yourself, seek help. If your master cylinder went empty in the mean time of all this, you need a total system bleed, let alone fixing the leak problem. Maybe a severed rubber brake hose, or some other major leak. Try and get a mechanic to look at it for you. Brian

i'm with Brian. DON'T drive the car. most brake problems begin gradually...if you've had a major loss of all your fluid in one night, something catastrophic has gone wrong.
