Hello

I am planning on adding a light bar or fog lights to my 07 outback. What is the best way to wire the lights through the firewall?

Any tips would help

thank you

Me too! I have wires temporarily run behind fender and into door jamb.

Since you have an automatic, you can pull the small rubber plug that's meant for the clutch master and drill a small hole through it, run wires. I have a 2 guage amp wire running through the grommet.

Would that be found on the passenger or driver side?

I was going to say it's the clutch oh, so it's got to be on the driver side! But reading again the clutch master cylinder could be anywhere I suppose.

It's the driver's side (whichever driving format you use), BUT the diamond-shaped grommet is actually inboard of the brake booster (rather than outboard, as one would think) due to the nature of the clutch pedal design. Either way, it's a larger (~3 in. wide) grommet, can't miss it.
