Hi Forum,

Does anyone know of an online retailer that might sell OEM door fasteners/clips for a 2000 Outback? I've tried googling and have found some 'potential' ones on Ebay but the way they list them make me think they are generic and not OEM. I went to my Subaru dealer and they told me that the fasteners come with a new door panel - something that seems utterly ridiculous to me. I don't know if they were trying to upsell me or if they truly didn't know. Tried Autozone, Advance Auto, etc. and no luck.

Is this something I can find elsewhere, or should I start sifting through a junkyard?

Have just ordered some for my front doors, they do come separate.

Well, I guess they're not totally wrong. The clips might well be supplied with a new panel. But they apparently are available separately in Australia, and more than likely in North America. There are clips shown, and listed, with p/ns. They are frequently broken when the door panel is removed, and would be a fairly regular replacement part. Dealer should have similar diagrams and parts lists (unless Subaru is no longer supporting MY2000, which I doubt). Try them again, or go to another Subaru dealer, if that's possible.
