...after five years of a different vehicle. Or at least I think I'm returning -- I'm contemplating an OB3.6R, as it would most closely approximate the Gen3 OBXT I used to drive.

I traded the OBXT ('07, as I recall) for an Xterra Pro4x when we moved here to Colorado, thinking that I wanted to take up true off-roading. Now, having done that enough to decide that I don't like to have my liver shaken and stirred so much, I'm thinking that anywhere an OB can't go, I don't really want to go (which leaves open quite a lot of back-country terrain, actually). Besides, an OB will be much (much) nicer for long road trips, although I'll miss sitting way up there and the visibility.

So, we'll see what's available in left-over '18s or maybe wait for the '19s.

Now I've got some catching up to do on all these forums. HPH

check out cars101 for the changes in the trims over 2016-19,...maybe you find something great.

15s had problem CVTs, even on the 3.6.

and try out the Ascent while you are on dealer lots, ...even if you don't like its size maybe the 2.4 turbo will be more to your liking.

probably see it in a new redesigned outback for 2020, on a lot in july of 2019
