I take it I need one of these? I haven't gotten around to pulling the factory deck out yet, but I'd hate to get in there and then need this...

Yeah, yeah, I know... This is the most delayed radio install ever... To be fair the wire harness for the Pioneer head unit to the car is done hahaha

Actually Amazon's website claims that one is not for a 2011 Outback? I've also seen part number 40-SB30?

Crutchfield does state that the SB10 is the correct part number. Should I also invest in the extension? Or have people had no problems with using the provided length?
Looking for some input, thanks. My wife's Outback has the most basic factory head unit I think it could come with. Thanks!!!
