Any Good Subaru Techs in IL/ IA ?
Hi,
We are locatred near Moline, IL in the Quad Cities.
Having some issues with our 2003 inherited Outback Wagon.
We suspect that the head gaskets may possibly be heading South.
Hoping there is a decent independent or qualified Subaru Tech looking for a
side job diagnosing this car.
It is running very hot !
Cannot imagine what the situation will be in the summer weather.
Feel free to chime in or PM me if you know of somebody capable of possibly doing the head gaskets / taking a hard look at our concern.

If he is in Moline then he knows of McLaughlin subaru. But doesn't want to use them apparently.
I know there are a couple techs at lujacks who seemed to know their way around subarus. I suppose you could call their Honda service center and ask to talk to Austin. I believe that was his name. no idea if he'd be interested in side work.
