Bought a new 2018 Outback with the 17 inch Bridgestone Duellers. I'm looking to upgrade to a 235 all terrain tire and am debating what to do with the stockers. A local shop I usually trade tires at is willing to give me $400 in trade vale for them with less than 1,000 miles of wear. Does that sound pretty good, or do you guys think they'd be worth more on Craigslist if you can find the right person?

It all depends upon supply and demand in your local market. And there's only one way to find out if they're worth more: post them at a price point higher than $400, and see what happens.

Best to have them on the vehicle so a buyer can drive on them, though.

Me, I'd take the $400 and avoid the hassle of a Craigslist sale.

I would take the $400 in a heartbeat. I have a set of the 18" with 1500 miles and plan to put them on Craigslist. I would love to get $400 for them.

you can list them on you local craigslist

the buyer should have a 2015-present outback or legacy. (as you got 5x114.3 rims).

2000-2014 had 5x100 on legacy/outback.

____

foresters never changed from 5x100. (2019 foresters are not due out until fall, unknown if they will update).

_______

you can look it up on impreza and wrx and sti. (those 3, EACH have some variation over the years).

I didn't think the OP was talking about wheels. In my post I was referring to tires only. I'm keeping my OEM wheels for winter tires.
