I am looking into purchasing a 2018 Limited, but far prefer the looks of the Premium's 17" rims (I also prefer taller tire sidewalls). Has anyone tried to get a dealer to swap the tires and wheels from one new car to another? I'm thinking since I'd be "downgrading" a dealer might be willing to do so, and I wouldn't mind paying the labor and to reset the TPMS. Thoughts?

Good luck with that. Doubt any dealer wants to swap, as that would leave them with a Premium vehicle with the wrong Limited wheels.

Not a fan of the 18" coke bottle Limited wheels, either. I think a set of Method rims looks awesome on the Outback...

Where are you located? I bet you might find some interest if you put out the request.

My dealer did that for me. I purchased a 2015 Limited, but I didn't like the big rims and thin tires. They swapped my wheels for the 17" rims from a new Premium at no charge to me, they said that they sold them for a profit to someone that wanted 18" wheels.
