Rolling with 17"

I have some 05 OB XT 225/55/17 installed on my 99OB, It was a 2 inch jump in diameter, I call it a poor mans lift job. My mpg went down about 2 to 3 mpg, and the braking has been affected. I going to put some 03 H6 rotors and calipers soon to help alleviate the braking force applied , the difference imho is old 10.6, new 11.6, so we will play with it:p

I did a test fit with the 215/60/17(we had a new one off a wrecked car that had a flat spot at work).Didnt rub at all in the front.A wee bit close to rear strut.I have some 1/8 inch spacers I may use to get it a little further out.
